Position Summary

The Property Manager at Ten Oaks will oversee the daily operations of the community, ensuring that it remains safe, clean, and well-maintained while delivering an exceptional living experience for residents. This role focuses on administrative oversight, vendor coordination, rent collection, and resident relations—not leasing or home sales. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities with professionalism and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day community operations, including rent collection, maintenance requests, and service coordination.
  • Supervise onsite staff and vendors to ensure timely completion of maintenance, landscaping, and community improvement projects.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to uphold Civitas Residential’s community standards for cleanliness, safety, and appearance.
  • Maintain accurate financial and operational records including rent rolls, invoices, and expense reports.
  • Handle resident communications, notices, and community rule enforcement in a professional and consistent manner.
  • Coordinate with the corporate team on budgets, reporting, compliance, and operational initiatives.
  • Support corporate leadership during home installations, construction activity, or infrastructure work occurring within the community.
  • Ensure compliance with all state, local, and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of property management experience (manufactured home or multifamily experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (experience with Yardi or similar preferred).
  • Ability to manage vendors, budgets, and schedules effectively.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
